Product Introduction and Features

Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate CAS 55406-53 is a white crystalline powder with broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties; it is particularly effective against moulds and yeasts. It remains stable for two years at 40°C; it is insoluble in water but readily soluble in lower alcohols and is highly compatible with cosmetic ingredients such as surfactants and proteins. It is widely used in the personal care sector, including hair care and skin care products.

KT-IPBC preservative can inhibit the growth of bacteria, mildew, yeast and algae, especially mould, so it is a broad-spectrum antibacterial.

2. It's compatible with organic matters in cosmetics, non-ionic surfactants, cations, anions, surfactants and proteins.
