Introduction
C5 petroleum resin is made by polymerising the C5 fraction, a byproduct of the ethylene plant, in the presence of a catalyst.
C5 petroleum resin is inexpensive and has excellent properties such as acid resistance, alkali resistance, ageing resistance, and weather resistance. It is widely used in hot-melt road marking paint, hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, and tyre rubber mixing.
