Introduction
Stearyl Acrylate is an organic compound formed by the esterification of acrylic acid with stearyl alcohol (stearyl alcohol). It is a colorless to light yellow solid or liquid at room temperature and is highly hydrophobic. Due to its long-chain aliphatic structure, stearyl acrylate forms a comb-like structure in the polymer, giving the material unique properties.

Application
Coatings and paints: As a leveling agent, it improves the smoothness and uniformity of the coating and improves the coating quality.
Adhesives: Used in various adhesive formulations to enhance adhesion and durability.
Oil depressants: Used as depressants in lubricating oils and fuels to reduce the freezing point at low temperatures and improve fluidity.
Radiation curing systems: As active diluents and crosslinkers, it is used in ultraviolet (UV) or electron beam (EB) cured coatings and inks to provide excellent hardness and chemical resistance.
Textile coatings: Using its high hydrophobicity, it is used as a raw material for textile coatings to give fabrics waterproof and anti-fouling properties.
