Introduction
Dibenzoylmethane (DBM) is a light yellow crystalline powder and is commonly used in the production of PVC plastic stabilizers and other products.
When used in coordination with the main stabilizer Ca/Zn or Ba/Zn, Dibenzoylmethane (DBM) can reduce the early coloring of the product and improve the later heat resistance and transparency, as well as the precipitation and "zinc burning" phenomenon during processing.
Dibenzoylmethane (DBM) can absorb ultraviolet light above 290 nm and has a light-stabilizing effect, providing long-term stability for PVC products.
