Introduction
Imidazolidines are a class of heterocyclic compounds with surfactant properties. They are typically strongly basic, low-melting-point, organic-soluble solids with a density of approximately 0.892 g/cm³, with a boiling point of 92.8°C. Their stability in aqueous solutions depends on the pH of the medium and the duration of exposure; hydrolysis and ring opening may occur. They possess foaming, cleansing, emulsifying, and antistatic properties, are resistant to hard water, non-toxic, highly biodegradable, and non-irritating to the skin.
Application
Imidazolinium can be used for the following purposes:
1. Extraction of crude oil and natural gas, collection and transportation.
2. Anti-corrosion of industrial circulating cooling water systems.
3. Oil injection water system, sewage treatment and corrosion.
