KT-DMD230 Polyaspartic acid

Features and uses

KT-DMD230 is an aspartic acid ester containing two secondary amino groups.

It is recommended for spraying polyurea or polyaspartic acid ester coatings to prepare solvent-free or high-solid content two-component coatings. 

Compared with primary amino raw materials for ordinary spray polyurea, DMD230 has moderate reaction speed and good operating performance.

 It can be applied by machine or brush, and can be thickly applied to improve construction efficiency. The aliphatic coating film obtained has good gloss and surface effect, good flexibility and mechanical properties, light yellowing resistance, corrosion resistance and weather resistance.

The polyaspartic acid ester polyurea coating prepared with this product and aliphatic polyisocyanate (such as HDI trimer) is particularly suitable for decorative topcoats of conventional spray polyurethane urea elastomer coatings, such as anti-corrosion coating decoration of bridges and outdoor buildings, long-term protection of concrete and other fields; it is also suitable for furniture topcoats, industrial plant floors and sports field floors, and the preparation of road marking paints, protective coatings for wind turbine blades, helicopter composite skin coatings and other high-end application fields.

Packaging and storage

50kg, 200kg plastic barrels, or packaged according to user requirements.

Store in a cool and dry environment, away from fire, strong acids, strong alkalis and strong oxidants.

Under the prescribed transportation and storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of production. If stored beyond the shelf life, it can still be used after the main application indicators are tested and qualified.
