Introduction and Application
Light Stabilizer 622 is a polymer hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS); its chemical name is POLY(4-HYDROXY-2,2,6,6-TETRAMETHYL-1-PIPERIDINE). It is effective for a variety of polymers and applications, suitable for PE materials (injection molding, rotational molding, film materials, and tapes), EVA, PP fibers, polyurethane, polyacetal, elastomers, adhesives, and seals. This product has a good light-stabilizing effect on materials containing a carbon black system.
Depending on the application, the general addition level of LS 622 is between 0.05 and 1.5%. Appropriate tests must be used to determine whether the addition amount is appropriate for a specific application. This product shows a synergistic effect when used with other light stabilizers, especially high-molecular HALS (such as LS 944 and LS 119), benzoic acid, and UV absorbers.
Features:
No discoloration
Low volatility, anti-migration
Weak alkalinity, reduced interaction with fuels and other stabilizers
Widely applicable to food contact materials.
