Introduction and Application
Acridinium esters are a class of chemical substances that can be used as chemiluminescent markers. In alkaline H2O2 solution, when the molecules of acridinium esters are attacked by hydrogen peroxide ions, the substituents on the acridinium ring can react with C-9 on the acridinium ring and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) to form unstable ethylene dioxide, which decomposes into CO2 and electronically excited N-methylacridone.
It can be used for research such as chemiluminescence and immunoassay, receptor analysis, nucleic acid and peptide detection.
Applications:
1. Direct labeling of antigens and antibodies;
2. Detection of thyroid levels;
3. Detection of marker alpha-fetoprotein;
4.Analysis of immunoglobulins and related compounds, etc.
Advantages:
1.NSP-DMAE-NHS is simple to luminesce, does not require a catalyst, can reduce background luminescence, improve sensitivity and reduce interference.
2.NSP-DMAE-NHS has high luminescence efficiency and high intensity, because the luminescence speed is fast, usually the entire luminescence process can be completed in 1-2 seconds, which is five times or more than luminol.
3.NSP-DMAE-NHS has few luminescence interference factors, low background, high signal-to-noise ratio, and its luminescence efficiency is basically not affected by the structure of the substituent.
4.NSP-DMAE-NHS has a small molecular weight and is easy to be firmly connected to the protein through chemical bonds. It has little effect on the conformation of the antibody after binding.
