• Oleamidopropyl betaine is an amphoteric surfactant and can be used as a thickener, conditioner, wetting agent, antibacterial agent, antistatic agent, etc.
• Oleamidopropyl betaine can be used as a self-steering acid main agent, thickener, viscoelastic surfactant, and oil displacement agent in oil and gas fields.
• Oleamidopropyl betaine has excellent salt resistance and is used as an acidification diversion agent. As the pH of the system decreases, its viscosity increases rapidly, and viscoelastic solutions or gels of different strengths can be formed, which are used as clean fracturing fluids, self-steering acids, and viscoelastic surfactant (VES) main agents.
• Oleamidopropyl betaine has high surface/interfacial activity, strong resistance to heat and hard water, and can increase the viscosity of the solution sharply under acidic conditions and is used for thickening acidification fluids on different occasions.
