Product Description

Siloxane oligomers are complex oligomers of siloxanes formed by the hydrolysis and condensation of various special silanes. Also known as siloxane ketones, they are high-performance and inexpensive water-based aluminum corrosion inhibitors. The dosage in the formula is 0.5-2%; the dosage for supplementing at the tank edge is 0.3-0.5%.

Introduction

Siloxane oligomers are complex oligomers of siloxanes formed by the hydrolysis and condensation of various special silanes. Also known as siloxane ketones, they are high-performance and inexpensive water-based aluminum corrosion inhibitors. They are completely soluble in water and also soluble in alcohols, acetone, most aliphatic and ester compounds. Primarily used for corrosion inhibition of aluminum in aqueous environments, they also provide excellent corrosion inhibition for solder, reducing solder corrosion in water.
