Trimellitic anhydride is a trifunctional aromatic anhydride with excellent chemical reactivity. It is widely used in the synthesis of plasticizers, resins, coatings and high-performance polymers. 1. Preparation of tri(2-ethylhexyl) trimellitate
Widely used in coating materials for electrical internal parts, automotive wires, semiconductors, etc., automotive cables, automotive seat cushions, artificial leather, washing machine drain hoses, blinds, sealing materials and fillers, etc.

2. Preparation of polyamide-imide and polyesterimide
Mainly used as insulation materials for F and H class motors, and can be used for a long time at 230~250℃. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture molded plastic parts such as electrical components, valves, bearings, jet engine parts, etc.

3. Preparation of alkyd resin
Mainly used as primer for automobiles, electrical appliances, and mechanical products, and can also be used as surface paint for kitchens, furniture, etc., for industrial building materials and common paints, etc.

4. Others
Cheap and practical curing agent. It is widely used in home appliances, bicycles, steel doors, windows, etc. where decoration and corrosion resistance are required. It is used as heat-resistant insulating laminates, synthetic dyes, heat-resistant additives, stabilizers, fiber softeners, pigments, water treatment agents, film and surfactants, etc.
