Introduction
Tris(isobutylphenyl) phosphate is a phosphate ester compound with a molecular weight of 494.60, a density of 1.083 g/cm³, a boiling point of 534.5 °C (760 mmHg), a flash point of 290°C, and a refractive index of 1.543. It is classified as a Class 9 hazardous material and releases toxic gases containing POx when decomposed by heat.
Applications
Tris(isobutylphenyl) phosphate is an excellent halogen-free flame retardant plasticiser with excellent anti-yellowing performance, excellent hydrolysis stability, low volatility, low atomisation and other advantages. It is commonly used in PVC, PC/ABS, modified PPO and PC/ABS.
