Introduction and Application

UV 2020 is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It exhibits excellent compatibility and anti-extraction in polymers. One of the characteristics is that the molecular weight distribution is very narrow, which makes it show consistent effects in processing and use, combining the advantages of various high molecular weight HALS. It provides high light/heat stability for polymers while improving their auxiliary properties, such as enhancing the color of pigments.

UV 2020 perfectly combines light stability and long-term heat stability with other auxiliary properties (such as minimal color interference and improved melt flow rate control). It provides excellent light stability for PP fibers, PP narrow tapes, PE films, and PP and PE thick products. It also exhibits unique long-term heat stability for filled PP products and carbon black-filled systems.
