Introduction and Application
UV-405 is a solid triazine UV absorber suitable for automotive coatings and industrial coatings. It contains hydroxyl groups, which reduces migration in the coating; it has good compatibility with the coating; the structure itself has good thermal stability and light stability; it has weak interaction with metal residues in the coating; it is usually used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers to improve the coating's resistance to gloss loss, powdering, bubbles, delamination, and discoloration.
Addition amount: 1.0-3.0%, the specific addition amount is determined according to customer application tests.
