Vinylene carbonate is a colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquid. Melting point: 19~22℃, boiling point: 162℃, relative density (25℃): 1.355g/ml, flash point: 73℃, refractive index: 1.42~1.422, water solubility: 11.5g/100ml.

Application:
Vinylene carbonate is a new type of film-forming additive and overcharge protection additive for lithium-ion batteries. It can form a solid electrolyte interface film (SEI film) by electrochemical reaction on the negative electrode surface during the initial charge and discharge of lithium batteries, effectively inhibiting the embedding of solvent molecules.
Vinylene carbonate has good high and low temperature performance and anti-flatulence function, which can improve the capacity and cycle life of the battery.
In addition, vinylene carbonate can also be used as a monomer for the preparation of polyvinyl carbonate.
