Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate (ZDEC) is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 179-181°C and a density of 1.48 g/cm³. It is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene and carbon disulfide, but insoluble in water and gasoline. Dust can form explosive mixtures with air, which is irritating to the skin and eyes. However, it is suitable for food-grade rubber products.

Application

This product can be used as a super accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber and can also be used as a general accelerator for latex. It is a good activator for thiazole and sulfonamide accelerators. It has a strong water activation effect on butyl rubber containing accelerator M, TMTD, or both. It can also be used for EPDM rubber, latex foam products, impregnated products, rubber threads, and other products. Because it does not pollute, does not change color, and has no odor, it is also used for white or light-colored products, transparent products, medical products, and products in contact with food. It can also be used for tires, inner tubes, cables, roofing sheets, adhesive tapes, and self-sulfur products.

Packaging and Storage

Plastic bag or cardboard barrel packaging, or according to customer requirements.

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place; moisture-proof and waterproof, away from fire and heat sources.
