Introduction and Application
Tellurium dioxide (TeO₂) crystal is an excellent acousto-optic crystal material, which has excellent acousto-optic properties and high natural abundance of 130Te and double beta decay performance. Tellurium dioxide crystals are now widely used in various acousto-optic devices, such as acousto-optic deflectors, acousto-optic modulators, and acousto-optic tunable harmonic devices. Acousto-optic devices made of tellurium oxide can improve the resolution by orders of magnitude at the same aperture and have the advantages of fast response speed, low driving power, high diffraction efficiency, and stable and reliable performance. Therefore, TeO2 crystal is an acousto-optic device material with broad application prospects, especially acousto-optic modulators and acousto-optic harmonic devices, and its application in optical computing, optical communications, and optical microscopy is developing rapidly. It can also be used as an electronic component material and preservative and is also used for bacterial testing in bacterial seedlings.
