Introduction
Antioxidant 1024 is an excellent, highly efficient, and pollution-free antioxidant. It is soluble in methanol and ethyl acetate, but insoluble in water. It has a dual structure of hindered phenol and hydrazide and has both antioxidant and metal deactivation functions, making it a metal deactivator.
It does not produce color stains and can be used alone or in combination with other general antioxidants, with excellent synergistic effects. It is suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyamide, and polyester and is especially suitable for phenolic resin antioxidants, which can effectively prevent polymers from self-oxidation due to the presence of transition metal ions (such as catalyst residues).
