Introduction and Applications

The chemical name of Antioxidant 1076 is octadecyl 3,5-bis(tert-butyl)-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamate.

Antioxidant 1076 is a non-polluting, non-toxic, highly efficient hindered phenol antioxidant with excellent heat and water extraction resistance and adequate compatibility. It can be used in combination with antioxidant 168, DLTDP, etc. to exert a synergistic effect and improve the antioxidant effect.
Antioxidant 1076 has excellent compatibility with most polymers. It has the good effect of preventing discoloration caused by light and heat, and it also has a certain light stabilization effect.
Antioxidant 1076 is commonly used in plastic materials like PE, PP, PS, polyamide, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, PVC, and synthetic rubber, and it helps to make these products last longer. It is also used to prevent thermal oxidation and aging of grease and coatings.
