Dimethyl adipate, abbreviated as DMA, is a colorless, transparent liquid at room temperature and pressure. It is a low-toxic substance and is mainly used in industry as a raw material for synthetic intermediates, medicines, and fragrances; as a plasticizer; and as a high-boiling point solvent.
Application
Application for coating:
This product is mainly used in the production of powder coating curing agents in the coating industry. Dimethyl adipate reacts with diethanolamine to generate alkylhydroxyamide curing agent—HAA.
Application for Cold resistant Plasticizer:
It can give the product excellent low-temperature softness and has certain light and heat stability and water resistance.
