N,N-Dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidine is an adhesive curing agent for acrylic resins, and is used in the preparation of fast self-curing dental materials and molding materials.
NN-dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidine is also a short-chain diol. When used as a chain extender for polyurethane elastomers, reaction injection moulding and other polyurethane products, it not only has good compatibility with other raw materials, but also the polyurethane products obtained have excellent mechanical properties; it is a reinforcing chain extender.
