Introduction

N,N-diisopropyl alcohol p-toluidine has stable chemical properties, no odour, no irritation, low toxicity, and convenient storage and transportation. It forms a redox initiation system with organic peroxides, has high activity and good miscibility with monomers, and is suitable for room temperature curing of acrylic acid or other olefin monomers. It is a new polymerisation accelerator with a promising development prospect.
N,N-diisopropyl alcohol p-toluidine is a short-chain diol. When used as a chain extender for polyurethane elastomers, reaction injection moulding and other polyurethane products, it not only has good compatibility with other raw materials, but also the obtained polyurethane products have excellent mechanical properties. It is an enhancer used in the polymerisation of unsaturated resins, which can enhance the cross-linking degree and have a network structure, which greatly enhances the fastness and toughness of the polymerisation and enhances the ability to resist shear and impact. It is an accelerator for the production of unsaturated resins such as marble glue and can replace N,N-dimethylaniline.
