Introduction:
Divinylbenzene has two vinyl groups, is highly reactive, and can generate insoluble polymers with three-dimensional structures. It is an important crosslinking agent.
Divinylbenzene is widely used in ion exchange resins, ion exchange membranes, ABS resins, polystyrene resins, unsaturated polyester resins, synthetic rubbers, and other fields.
Divinylbenzene can also improve the heat resistance, impact resistance, friction resistance, coloring resistance, high strength, transparency, and refractive index of the above resins.
Divinylbenzene is also used in wood processing and in the manufacture of flame retardants.
