Introduction
Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether is an epoxy resin containing ethylene glycol chains. It is a low-viscosity water-soluble epoxy resin or aliphatic epoxy resin. Its epoxy equivalent is 112-135 g/eq., its viscosity is 10-100 mPa·s, and its chlorine content is 9.5%. Its water solubility is 95%-100%.
Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether is often mixed with bisphenol A epoxy resin and used as a low-viscosity composite, casting plastic, impregnation liquid, adhesive, resin modifier, fabric treatment agent, etc. It is also used as an active diluent for epoxy resin and a stabilizer for chlorinated paraffin.
