Application:
Lithium difluorooxalate borate is a new type of electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries. It has excellent high and low temperature performance, and has relatively high conductivity and a wide electrochemical window in high and low temperature environments.
Lithium difluorooxalate borate has good film-forming properties and has almost no dissolution and corrosion on manganese and iron-based positive electrode materials. Therefore, it can be used as a film-forming additive for lithium battery electrolytes to improve the cycle life of batteries.
Currently, the most commonly used lithium salt for lithium-ion batteries in the market is mainly lithium hexafluorophosphate, but it has poor thermal stability, is easy to hydrolyze, and has low low-temperature conductivity of the electrolyte. Therefore, lithium difluorooxalate borate has become the best conductive lithium salt that can replace lithium hexafluorophosphate.
