Product Details
Introduction
Lithium difluorophosphate is an inorganic compound with a molecular weight of 107.91. At room temperature, it appears as a white to off-white powder or crystals and must be stored in an inert gas atmosphere to prevent exposure to moisture. It is primarily used as an electrolyte additive in lithium-ion batteries and is applied in rechargeable battery applications such as smartphones and electric vehicles. As an electrolyte additive, lithium difluorophosphate inhibits the growth of lithium dendrites and is suitable for use in high-temperature environments up to 70°C. The addition of lithium difluorophosphate helps form an SEI film rich in LiF and phosphate, thereby enhancing the stability of lithium-metal batteries.

Application
Interface film formation: Lithium difluorophosphate can form a stable solid electrolyte interface film (SEI film) at the electrode interface, improve the high and low temperature cycle performance of the battery, and reduce the self-discharge rate.
Reduce the amount of lithium hexafluorophosphate: As an electrolyte additive, the use of lithium difluorophosphate can effectively reduce the amount of lithium hexafluorophosphate used and optimise the electrolyte formula.
Cycle stability: Construct a stable SEI film on the graphite negative electrode, inhibit the side reaction between the electrode and the electrolyte, and improve the cycle life of the battery.
