Introduction
Poly(butylene adipate terephthalate), also known as PBAT resin, features high toughness, excellent heat and impact resistance, and easy molding and processing. It is a fully biodegradable resin material that can be completely degraded by microorganisms into low-molecular-weight compounds under appropriate and predictable natural environmental conditions.
Application
PBAT resin can be blended and modified with inorganic fillers, starch, and biodegradable materials (such as PHA, PLA, and TPS) to produce cost-effective products. It can be used in agricultural mulch, express packaging, supermarket shopping bags, disposable consumer goods, medical supplies, cosmetic and medicine bottles, pesticide and fertilizer slow-release materials, and biomedical polymer materials.
