Introduction
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a polymer polyester material obtained through a series of chemical reactions using lactic acid or lactic acid dimer lactide as monomers. It is a synthetic polymer material with the characteristics of being bio-based and degradable.
PLA itself is an aliphatic polyester with the basic properties of a general polymer material, good mechanical processing performance, low shrinkage, and can be used for most synthetic plastics.
