Product Details
Introduction
Tris[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl] Isocyanurate is a silane trimer containing an isocyanurate ring structure. It has 9 methoxy groups in one molecule, which is three times that of ordinary silicone. It has a large molecular weight, is not easy to volatilize, has a high cross-linking density, and has good oxidation stability. It is very suitable as an adhesion promoter for use in some high-temperature environments (such as hot melt adhesives).
The uses of this product include the following: It is an adhesion promoter for hot melt adhesives such as polyimide, polyester, EVA, and polyolefin, improving adhesion, lap shear strength, and elongation. It is used in coatings to improve the adhesion, water resistance, and corrosion resistance of the coating to the substrate (glass, metal, PVC, and other polar plastics).

Application
1. As an additive or formulated into a primer for phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic, acrylic and other coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants to improve the adhesion, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, water boiling resistance and scrub resistance of resin coatings, extend service life, and improve the dispersion and bonding of pigments and fillers in the resin phase.
2. In resin sand casting and resin molds, it is used to improve the bonding and water resistance of resin and silica sand or abrasives;
3. In plastics, rubbers, resins and low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable materials filled with mineral fillers or glass fibers, it is used to improve the dispersion and bonding of fillers and fibers in the resin phase.
4. Preparation of cyclohexylamine-based silicone oil. Cyclohexylamine-type silane coupling agents have secondary amino groups. Due to the influence of steric hindrance, the activity of the active hydrogen of the amino group is reduced, thus ensuring that the self-degree of the cyclohexylamine-type silicone oil softener is improved, and the hydrophilicity and anti-fouling properties are also improved accordingly. This type of silane has little effect on the whiteness of the fabric, whether it is bulk polymerized with D4 and then emulsified or directly made into an anionic emulsion through emulsion polymerization. Since the -OH group is introduced through emulsion polymerization, the elasticity index of the finished fabric is improved, and the overall effect is better.
