Introduction
Dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine is an intermediate of quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactants, which can react with ethylene oxide, dimethyl sulfate, diethyl sulfate, methyl chloride, benzyl chloride, etc. to generate different quaternary ammonium salt cations.
Dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine can be used to prepare fiber detergents, fabric softeners, asphalt emulsifiers, dye oil additives, metal rust inhibitors, antistatic agents, etc.
