Application
N,N-Dimethyldecylamine is the main raw material for producing cationic quaternary ammonium salts. It can be used to produce benzyl quaternary ammonium salts by reacting with benzyl chloride;
It can react with quaternary ammonium raw materials such as methyl chloride, dimethyl sulfate, and diethyl sulfate to produce cationic quaternary ammonium salts;
It can react with sodium chloroacetate to produce amphoteric surfactant betaine;
It can react with hydrogen peroxide to produce amine oxide as a foaming agent.
