Introduction
N-2,6-dimethylphenyl maleimide (TMPMI) is a maleimide with reactive groups. It can be polymerised by heating or catalysts. It can be used as a comonomer of ABN, polystyrene, and polyolefins to improve the thermal stability and UV stability of the copolymer.

Application
N-2,6-dimethylphenyl maleimide (TMPMI) is an important heat-resistant polymerisation monomer. As a heat-resistant modification monomer of polymers, it is widely used in polyvinyl chloride and polymethyl methacrylate. In particular, it can replace N-phenylmaleimide in bulk polymerisation and significantly improve the colour of the product. In addition, TMPMI also has important applications in dyes, petrochemicals, and agricultural chemistry.
