Introduction
N-(4-anilinophenyl)maleimide is used in natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It is a reactive non-extractable antioxidant. Since the maleimide system can accept free radicals to open double bonds during the vulcanization process, forming cross bonds to cross-link with rubber, it plays an anti-aging and non-extractable role. At the same time, this cross bond has a high stability to thermal oxidation. In addition, the N-substituent derivatives of maleimide can also be used as vulcanizing agents. For example, when peroxide is added during vulcanization, it triggers the generation of free radicals, which then causes graft polymerization and cross-linking. The macromolecules formed in this way are also not easy to extract. Since this product has the characteristics of oil resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and non-extractability, it can replace antioxidants such as 4010NA and 4020 for rubber compounds. The dosage and vulcanization conditions are the same as those of 4010NA antioxidants, generally two parts.
