Application
Bis(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate is mainly used in polyvinyl chloride copolymers, nitrocellulose, ethyl fiber, synthetic rubber, etc. It is particularly suitable for making cold-resistant wires and cables, artificial leather, films, plates, sheets, and other products. It is often used together with phthalate plasticizers. It can also be used as a low-temperature plasticizer for a variety of synthetic rubbers. It has no effect on the vulcanization of rubber and is also used as a lubricant for jet engines.
