Description
Dibutyl sebacate (DBS) is an organic chemical product, a di-n-butyl alcohol ester derivative of sebacic acid. Di-n-butyl sebacate has good low temperature performance and plasticizing effect. It is a cold-resistant plasticizer for plastics and polyvinyl chloride. It is also used in rubber, cables and synthetic jet engine lubricants.
Application
Application for rocket boosters:
Dibutyl sebacate (DBS) is an oxygenated liquid with a high boiling point and is essentially nonvolatile. so it can be used as the liquid fuel portion of rocket boosters.
Application for cold resistant plasticizer:
Dibutyl sebacate (DBS) has high plasticizing efficiency, good low-temperature performance and plasticizing effect, and can be used as a cold-resistant plasticizer for synthetic rubber.
