Introduction and Application

Butylated hydroxyanisole is a fat-soluble antioxidant. Used as a food antioxidant, it inhibits the oxidation of fatty foods and delays their spoilage. The maximum dosage in food should not exceed 0.2g/kg, calculated on a fat basis.

Butylated hydroxyanisole is more effective when combined with other fat-soluble antioxidants, such as butylated hydroxytoluene. It can also be used as an antioxidant in cosmetics, providing an antioxidant against acids, hydroquinone, methylthioamino acids, lecithin, and dipropionic acid. It can also be used as an antioxidant in feed.

Packaging and storage

This product is packaged in food-grade paper-plastic composite bags with an inner film, 25kg/bag.

This product should be stored in a dry, dark, dedicated indoor warehouse and protected from moisture.

During storage, transportation, loading and unloading, this product should be protected from rain and direct sunlight. Ensure that the packaging is dry and free from damage or contamination by other objects. Do not mix or store with toxic or hazardous substances. Do not store at high temperatures.

This product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production. Users are advised not to add excessive amounts or use it inappropriately.
