Introduction
3-(N-cyclohexylamino)propylmethyldimethoxysilane is a secondary amino difunctional silane. Its molecular structure contains a secondary amino functional group and two hydrolysable methoxy groups. This dual reactivity allows it to improve the bonding, adhesion and compatibility between inorganic materials (glass, metal, filler) and organic polymers (thermosetting resins, plastics, elastomers) through a two-way chemical reaction, thereby improving the mechanical properties of resin-based composite materials or improving the bonding strength and water resistance of resin coatings. In different applications, it can be used as a coupling agent, adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent, surface modifier for pigments and fillers, polyurethane end-capping agent, etc.

Application
1. As an additive or formulated into a primer for phenolic, urea-formaldehyde, furan, polyurethane, silicone, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic, acrylic and other coatings, inks, adhesives and sealants to improve the adhesion, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, water boiling resistance and scrub resistance of resin coatings, extend service life, and improve the dispersion and bonding of pigments and fillers in the resin phase;
2. In resin sand casting and resin molds, it is used to improve the bonding and water resistance of resin and silica sand or abrasives;
3. In plastics, rubbers, resins and low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cable materials filled with mineral fillers or glass fibers, it is used to improve the dispersion and bonding of fillers and fibers in the resin phase;
4. Preparation of cyclohexylamine-based silicone oil. Cyclohexylamine-type silane coupling agents have secondary amino groups. Due to the influence of steric hindrance, the activity of the active hydrogen of the amino group is reduced, thus ensuring that the self-degree of the cyclohexylamine-type silicone oil softener is improved and the hydrophilicity and anti-fouling properties are also improved accordingly. This type of silane has little effect on the whiteness of the fabric, whether it is bulk polymerised with D4 and then emulsified or directly made into an anionic emulsion through emulsion polymerisation. Since the -OH group is introduced through emulsion polymerisation, the elasticity index of the finished fabric is improved, and the overall effect is better.
