Introduction
Methyl nylonate (DBE) is a high-boiling-point, environmentally friendly solvent, also known as DBE. It is composed of three environmentally friendly divalent acid ester solvents: dimethyl succinate (butanedioate) CH₃OOC (CH₂)₂COOCH₃, dimethyl glutarate CH₃OOC (CH₂)₃COOCH₃, and dimethyl adipate CH₃OOC (CH₂)₄COOCH. It is precisely because of this unique composition that methyl nylonate becomes a non-toxic, colorless, and transparent liquid with a light ester aroma and super dissolving ability. It is a biodegradable, environmentally friendly, high-boiling-point solvent widely used in automotive coatings, color steel plate coatings, can coatings, enameled wires, home appliance materials, furniture and wood coatings, and other industries.

Application
Methyl nylonate (DBE) is an environmentally friendly coating solvent with good solubility, low volatility, easy flow, high safety, non-toxicity, photochemical stability, etc. It is mainly used as a high-boiling-point solvent in the coating industry. It can replace highly toxic solvents such as isophorone, glycol ether, and cyclohexanone. It is used for baking synthetic resin coatings and high-temperature quick-drying coil coatings, sheet coatings, and inner and outer wall coatings. This product is used in automotive coatings to achieve ideal gloss and smoothness for midcoat and topcoat films. This product can also be used as a paint stripper and cleaning agent and is widely used in industries such as inks, new foundry adhesives, and organic synthesis intermediates.
